PILOT BRIEFING

Taking off is easy.
Now stick the landing.

  1. Automatic launch. The car accelerates and climbs the overhanging ramp. You take control once it is airborne.
  2. Roll upright without reversing. Tap A or D after takeoff. With flight assist enabled, the car completes a controlled half-roll and automatically stops wheels-down. Its nose keeps pointing along the flight path.
  3. Soften the landing. Once upright, pulse SPACE to slow the fall. Aim for less than 5 m/s descent and under 18° tilt. You control the lift; the assist does not land for you.
  4. Fine-tune the attitude. W/S adjust pitch; Q/E adjust yaw. SHIFT adds forward boost. All ten numbered thrusters remain available individually. Choose Normal for the same controls without assist. Choose Extra Hard to control each nozzle with keys 1–0 or the ten on-screen buttons; grouped controls are disabled.

Xbox: Press any gamepad button, then release to switch. X/Y roll, RT lifts, LT boosts, LB/RB pitch, A/B yaw. Menu pauses; View opens the menu after pausing. Extra Hard: LT/LB and RT/RB are four individual lift jets, X/Y/A/B are rear jets, and left-stick left/right fires the side jets.

Choose your stage and difficulty before launch. Easy includes roll recovery; Normal and Extra Hard have no flight assist. In Extra Hard, only keys 1–0 and individual nozzle buttons fire thrusters. Your air reserve is limited. A hard or tilted landing causes an explosion.
